The Story So Far

Origionally Chris Mitchell And Steve Curry And A Few Others Put On A Promotional Day To Coincide With The First Recycling
Reggatta Which Was Held On Lillydale Lake.

Eventually A Steering Committee Was Formed Primarily To Establish A Sailing Group At The Lake To Cater For Clients With Disabilities.
A Coordinator Had Been Provided By The Vyc. After Struggling To Keep The Club Afloat Purely As A Disabled Sailing Group The Coordinators Funding Was Withdrawn
At The First Agm Of Sailabilty Lilydale The Origional Steering Committee Was Voted Out And Sailing For Everyone Incorporated Was Formed.
From These Early Years Sailability And Sailing For Everyone Co Existed Sailability Focusing On Sailing For The Disabled And Sailing
For Everyone As A Community Based Club. Over The Years Sailing For Everone Has Further Established Itself As The Leading Community Sailing
Group Each Year Establishing New Records For Attendees The Number Of Sailing Days And The Number And Variety Of Craft Available.

Over The Years We Have Had Many Members And Volunteers Come And Go But The Main Core Of Volunteers And Members Have Remained Solid This Has
