CLUB HISTORY Strathmore Aquatic was formed in 1995 focusing on providing quality services to swimmers maximising the opportunity for local swimmers to advance. In the 1995/1996 season (our first season), we had 26 members, last season we had amassed 101 members. In 2003 the members approved the changing of the clubs name to Moonee Valley Aquatic Inc, the idea behind this was the recognition of the area we now cover with our pools at Strathmore, Essendon - PEGS pool and now Footscray - VUT pool  In our first season, we were able to compete at Metro West but were not awarded points for competing. Since then, Strathmore Aquatic has gone from strength to strength.  1996/97- Won Metro West "D" Grade  1997/98- Won Metro West "C" Grade - Two National Reps  1998/99- Won Metro West "B" Grade - Two National Reps - Placed 15th Victorian Club @ State Championships  1999/00- 2nd Metro West "A" Grade - Two National Reps - Placed 12^th Victorian club @ State Championships  2000/01- Won Metro West "A" Grade competition - Two National Reps 2001/02- 2nd Metro West "A" Grade competition - Two National Reps - One National Medallist 2002/03- 2nd Metro West "A" Grade competition - Three National Reps 2003/04- 2nd Metro West "A" Grade competition 2004/05- 3nd Metro West "A" Grade competition 2005/06- 3nd Metro West "A" Grade competition Webmaster: abruce@bigpond.com Last updated on November 06 2009.
