Rotary International D9800 Youth Exchange Outback Tour.

Take a quick Trip and see what previous Rotary Exchange Students have got up to...

Students and everyone involved have an awesome trip of a life time across a big chunk of Australia.

Here are just some of the highlights, messages and memories along the way!

Hanna from Finland enjoys a stop over at Warner Brothers Movie World Queensland - Behave!!!

Victor from Sweden had a bloody good time in the Outback of Australia.

Victor was also able to swallow his whole hand and was taught to play a mean digi in Alice Springs thanks to local artist Tommy Crow.

Yasuko (Yahoo) from Japan was able to sleep anywhere anytime with the unique ability of sleeping sitting completely upright in the bus (coach) for long periods. Yasuko's future travelling tip - if a sleeping bag is wet it should never be locked up for several hot days tightly wrapped and stored in a bus.

Karianne from Norway and Nim fromThailand work together and get their hands dirty trying to put up a tent at Renmark along the Murray River.

We all enjoyed the camel ride in the outback of Australia, but not neally as much as Pu Nim (Thailand)

Ophelie from France contemplates the climb up Uluru. You can do it. It's only a rock, well ok, it's a bloody big steep rock but it's still a rock!

Ophelie also does her country proud wearing the most fashionable dressed outback gear, hay who says you can't wear an off the shoulder white and black outfit in the middle of a 38 degree, dust and fly infested outback country.

Anne and Sebastian both from Germany let their country down badly; two Germans in the Australian outback and both survived - what is going on!

Adrianne from Brazil catches up with some of the locals.

Arpi from Hungary, practicers playing on the digi while travelling through the outback on the coach (bus), and he got pretty good at it too.

Carol from Brazil conquers the rock. Most of the students are still getting over their pelvic injuries when trying to keep up with her dancing abilities of the Bomba.

D9800 Rotary President David Kegele - who is the best leader - "na na that's bullshit mate!" Able to leap small pot holes, look up in the sky, it's a bird, it's a plane, no it's just Dav in a Super Man T-shirt and flying high on Uluru, Northern Territory.

Ned (Kelly) 'Our Coach Captain' on most of the trips would like to announce his swag is still available for anyone that is remotely interested...anyone!!!

Geraldine from Belgium finds a great mate in Paula the tall pole from Poland.

Paula also enjoyed catching up with well earnt sleep on the coach as we move across the vast land of Australia.

Joan our great outback cook would like to announce that for lunch there are still plenty of fly infested pre-buttered sandwiches and watered down warm cordial, and if you're really good you can get some soup!

Christina from Denmark and Karianne from Norway create a friendship in Australia that will last a life time.

Gustav from Denmark or Good Stuff as we nick named him wins the best outback tan from pale white to pale pink, hay at least you didn't get sunburnt - see miracles do happen!

NEWS flash: Torren's Creek watering hole runs dry after Denmark tourist visit.

Aitor from Belgium could you please make arrangements to pick up your lipstick that you left behind in Tennant Creek, by the way the other boys who wish to remain anonymous would like to borrow it when you get it back - thanks!

Liz from D9800 Rotary Australia enjoys the camel ride and makes history as the only adult Australian to have visited the outback without having consumed a beer.

Phill (Photographer) was given the most number of dead ants; look out future exchange students you could be next...

Geoff Asher District 9800 Chairman of Rotary Youth Exchange wins the award for being the only person awake in Alice Springs tour of the flying doctors etc. reckon it had something to do with the fact there were planes involved.

Chris from Switzerland enjoys a local greeting from Rotarian Geoff Asher at the last night of the Outback trip at Sydney's revolving restaurant.
