Do
it indoors!
RWMC is
fortunate in having casual access to two useful indoor flying
sites in the base gymnasiums (gymnasia?) at Laverton and Point
Cook. Ceiling height is useful, at about 7m to the bottom
of the lights, and there is enough room for small free-flight
and lightweight radio control.
An active
club group also meets every Thursday afternoon at the Ballan
Rd Recreation Centre to fly free flight and ultra-lightweight
radio machinesnearly all electric powered.
More of
us tend to congregate in the gym for evening sessions after
meetings or workshop nights.
