Do it indoors!

RWMC is fortunate in having casual access to two useful indoor flying sites in the base gymnasiums (gymnasia?) at Laverton and Point Cook. Ceiling height is useful, at about 7m to the bottom of the lights, and there is enough room for small free-flight and lightweight radio control.

An active club group also meets every Thursday afternoon at the Ballan Rd Recreation Centre to fly free flight and ultra-lightweight radio machines—nearly all electric powered.

More of us tend to congregate in the gym for evening sessions after meetings or workshop nights.
