RPDS is totally non-profit and operated by volunteers living on the Mornington Peninsula. Our group is in its embryonic stage and in order to be able to help as many people as possible, RPDS needs your support.
One way to remember a loved one might be a memorial that will be utilised to put a disabled person onto the Internet. A small plate with your personal message would be attached to the front of the computer and you would be able to follow up by E-mail (preserves privacy).
The cost to help someone who is homebound with a disabling illness like advanced Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, Muscular Dystrophy, Paraplegia, Emphysema and particularly those who can still speak clearly but no longer use their hands is getting beyond our resources. We desparately need Pentium 11/111 PC's with 500mHz or better speed for voice software
We do need Donations.
