Milk for a Year

The club donated $750 to a local GP practising in Ivanhoe, Dr Chandra Krishnamurthi, towards milk for the orphanage started by her family in Chennai India.

The orphanage cares for about 200 children and only gets 25% of its financial needs from Indian government sources and therefore this donation will go a long way towards supplying sufficient milk for the kids for a whole year.

This is the second year we have supported this worthwhile project.
