Linleigh was educated at Dandenong High School, travelled to Chicago, USA to attend Moodie Bible Institute. Met and married Laverne Roehl, born in New Leipzig, North Dakota. Has lived in many parts of USA with some extended visits back to Australia. Has worked in Christian Ministries, Bible Colleges in USA, Australia, Brazil and Belize. Currently spends most of his time writing and has several books published. Lin & Laverne live in Colorado Springs, Colorado USA, with daughter Gweneth & son-in-law Joe. Children - Gweneth born in Columbia, Sth. Carolina, David born in Wangaratta, Victoria, Jonathan born in Adelaide, SA, Judith born in St. Louis, Missouri, Daniel born in Savannah, Georgia.
