FRANCIS married Augustiana Serong on the 9th July. Francis was 23 when he married and his occupation was a carrier. They had ten children among these a set of triplets of which only one survived. Francis lived at Broadwater at some time and was a farmer. Augustiana died on the 20th September 1885 aged 43 years. Francis died on the 22nd July 1920 aged 83 years and they are buried at Yambuk. Augustiana was Julia Silva's (John's wife) aunt.
