David married Cecilia Windley on 28 Apr 1900 in Southern Cross Vic. Cecilia was born on 18 Jan 1884 and died on 2 Feb 1962, at age 78.

Children from this marriage were:

+ 84 M    i. David Ottawa Rowbotham was born on 10 Feb 1901 and died in 1992, at age 91.

+ 85 F    ii. Pearl Catherine Jane Rowbotham was born on 29 Oct 1902 and died on 19 Oct 1993, at age 90.

+ 86 M    iii. Thomas Samuel Rowbotham was born on 11 Jan 1905 and died in 1991, at age 86.

+ 87 F    iv. Cecila May Rowbotham was born on 10 Feb 1911 and died in 1992, at age 81.

+ 88 F    v. Lillian Grace Rowbotham was born on 26 Mar 1917 and died in 1946, at age 29.

David next married Rachel Waring . Rachel was born in 1891 and died on 9 Jul 1978, at age 87.
