Youngest son of John & Julia, lived with his parents on the family farm at Broadwater. In 1918, his brother Alfred and sister-in-law died in New Zealand of pneumonic flu within a week of each other. Viv went to New Zealand and brought their 3 children back to Broadwater and raised them.

Died in 1963 and is buried in Pt. Fairy Cemetery with his parents.
