Comment:   I have no idea what you went through but all I know is that I feel sorry for you. I am only 15 years of age and I have read your story. It's a tear jerker I must say.

Comment:   Have faith. To do otherwise is to have no hope. Yours is the fight of right and one day you shall be vindicated in the eyes of the law as your courageous fight has vindicated you in the eyes of the people.

Comment:   Heather Osland shouldn't be in jail. Well she shouldn't of been there for as long she has. The max she should of got is 5 years. Her husband treated her like sh*t and he deserved what he got.

Comment:   I can't believe that the government has to think twice about this issue. Heather was the victim and was doing the natural thing of protecting herself and her children from abuse.

Comment:   I strongly support Heather and believe she should be released. I'll be forwarding letters of support to the government and distributing the kits through my networks. Keep fighting for JUSTICE Heather. Antoinette

Comment:   I became aware of Heather's case after interviewing Phil Cleary on 3RRR about his book "Just Another Little Murder" which is about the murder of his sister Vicki and the subsequent successful use of the provocation defence in her killer's trial. The interview transcript will be posted on my website shortly. I will also provide a link to this site from mine, will circulate petitions and lobby the government. If we don't fight to change the patriarchal legal system, then who will?

Comment:   This site was great. I am doing a reasearch project on domestic violence for a nursing degree. I didn't realise that it happens so much, hidden so well and hard to find support groups. It's not out there and people have to actively work to find it....that's a shame more material should be at hand....anyway people, keep up the good work....best regards, Graham

Comment:   I get sick when I read things like this. You must have some piece of mind knowing that the animal will never be able to do that to anyone else. It's only to bad that your children had to be without their mom for all those years. God bless and have a good life when you get out

Comment:   I am apalled at this situation. The law is an ass. If anyone thinks I can help this cause in any way please let me know. I am an activist in the anti-death penalty movement in the United States of America. I am a retired Queensland Police Officer with over 30 years of service. Any assistance I can afford will readily be given.
