Meetings will be cancelled on any nights when POWER RESTRICTIONS in the area are in force.
Field excursions will be cancelled on days of TOTAL FIRE BANS in the proposed excursion areas.




14th November (Wednesday evening)   GENERAL MEETING NO. 556. Outdoor Meeting
Bellbird Picnic Area, Yarra Bend, (Melways 2D K2),
BBQ facilities available or picnic tea, mealtime 6.00pm, meeting to follow.
NOTE: Bats will be on the move at about 20 minutes before sunset. Sunset is anticipated around 8.10pm.

17th November (Saturday)   EXCURSION: Batemans Reserve
Bateman St, Wantirna. 1.30pm to 4.00pm. (Melways 63 F4). Topic: Grasses

Meet at Cascades’ Carpark 500ms from bottom of Lake Mountain Rd at 10.30am.

Meet at 10.15am for morning tea at Fernshaw (Melways 80 B3). Excursion starts at 10.30am.

13rd April (Sunday)   EXCURSION: Mt. Worth State Park
Travel east along the Princes Highway through Warragul to Darnum. Turn right (south), take the Allambee Road and the Allambee Estate Road and follow signs to the Park (12 km). Meet in the car-park for the Moonlight Creek Picnic Area (entrance on east side of park) at 10:30 am. (Melways Map 628 B7)
