Field excursions will be cancelled on days of TOTAL FIRE BANS in the proposed excursion areas.

(Sunday)     EXCURSION: Murrundindi. Meet at Devlins Bridge on Melba H’wy, 8 km past Glenburn at 10.30am. (Melways 610 Q10)

(Saturday)    EXCURSION: Jells Park for breakfast. Meet at 6.55am at the east entrance gates on Waverley Rd. Please be on time so gates can be locked after we get in. (Melways 71 K6)

(Saturday)    FIELD CARE DAY: Jumping Creek Reserve, Warrandyte State Park. Meet at Sandy Bay Picnic area at 10.00am. Bring some refreshments, small plastic bags and garden implements for digging Smilax bulbs. Note a BBQ lunch will be provided for the workers by the rangers. (Melways 23 K9)

(Sunday)    EXCURSION: Melbourne Wildlife Sanctuary at Latrobe University. Meet in Car Park 7, at 10.15am for a 10.30am start at the Sanctuary. BYO picnic lunch, after walk, at 1.00pm in Uni grounds. Nearby afternoon walk possible. Cost $3 per head. (Melways 19 H6)

(Saturday)    EXCURSION: Woodlands Historical Park. Meet at 10.15am at the Gellibrand Hill Information centre, off Providence Rd. for a 10.30am walk. Lunch at 12.30pm at the Somerton Rd Picnic Area. A further walk at 1.00pm .

(Saturday)    CAMPOUT: Anglesea. Accommodation will be required for FRI 17 & SAT 18. Some accommodation details will be available at meetings but it is suggested you book your own, possibly through the Anglesea Family Caravan Park. A program for the weekend will be available closer to the time.
