About Huntingdale Rotary

Do you enjoy meeting people from a broad range of backgrounds and occupations?

Do you have skills or life experience you want to share with others?

Would you like to have fun whilst making contribution to the local community?

Ever thought about being a Rotarian?

Rotarians are men and women who live and work in the local community and have an interest in making it a better place for everyone.

Huntingdale Rotary Club meets once a week at the Huntingdale Golf Club and enjoy a meal together while discussing business and usually enjoying a talk from a guest speaker. Meetings are held weekly on Thursday evenings. Members and guests arrive at 6:15PM for a 6:45PM start. Meetings usually close around 9:00PM.

Rotary Objectives

The object of rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:

1. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
2. High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
3. The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business and community life;
4. The advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.

1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FREINDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICAL to all concerned?

Current Projects

• Supports local schools and community organizations
• Supports young people through Rotary leadership enrichment programs, scholarships and youth exchange.
• Assists research on mental health and other issues through the Rotary Health Research Foundation
• Participates in Rotary International projects such as the eradication of Polio throughout the world.
• Supports the community by providing medical aids and through distribution of Ambulance Health Booklets
• Youth/New Generation (Ryla/Rypen)
