Werribee Secondary College Donation

The recent fire at Werribee Secondary College prompted the Rotary Club of Hoppers Crossing to assist the college in restoring services to students.  As temporary technology classrooms were built well away from the main school buildings, a need arose for a dedicated audio/visual unit.  The Rotary Club has donated a large screen television, DVD/VCR combination unit and rugged stand.  The new equipment will be used by students when learning new procedures and processes during technology classes.  "Our club is delighted to assist the school in regaining strength since the fire losses to buildings and equipment earlier this year." said club President Linda Scott. Principal Steve Butyn thanked Linda on behalf of the school and commented that the support received from the Wyndham community since the fire has been fantastic.
