Queen's Baton Relay

One of our members had the privilege of being a member of the 2006 Commonwealth Games Queen's Baton Relay through Hoppers Crossing.

Some words from Dave after the event.

"I would like to thank everyone for their support, either through being there or, for those who couldn't attend, your words of encouragement, during my baton run on Thursday. I felt truly privileged to be representing our Club and your support helped to make Thursday one of the most momentous days of my life. Thank you one and all."
