Royal Australian Corps of Signals
CORPS MEMORANDA
Background
The following html pages, provide a good deal of information on the Royal Australian Corps of Signals. I am providing this information as a result of requests from members and ex-members of the Corps. There maybe soldiers that could use this type of information. In addition, the history and traditions are of interest to all Corps members.
The information was found in the document "imaged" below and has not been 'doctored' by me in any way. However, there has been some minor variations to the original layout to suit HTML conventions.
The Memoranda document I used was dated 10 May 1994 and signed by Colonel Ian Gordon, the then Director of Signals - Army. The Memoranda is not classified nor under copyright.

Opinion
Corps Memoranda paragraph 206 indicates that some of the Corps History (i.e. Princess Royal Salver and the Princess Royal Trophy) are held for safe keeping in the Corps Officer's Mess. Surely, such historically important items would maybe better viewed in the Corps Museum or on display in the School of Signals so a wider audience of soldiers can view them?
