The Boats of "Swallows & Amazons" by Stuart Wier provides a comprehensive study of small clinker-built sailing dinghys of the type described in the Arthur Ransome Childrens' books.
Some Ransome related items from New Zealand This site contains some good images of the TARS emblem of crossed flags, and a True Type font of the Semaphore Alphabet including a couple of extra symbols. This is similar to the font listed in The Arthur Ransome Pages, but also has some graphics versions too.
The Arthur Ransome Club This site is the Home page of The Arthur Ransome Club of Japan in English . This Club is apparently the oldest Ransome Club in the World.
