We are a community group promoting quilting and related craft practices. Kilmore Quilters provides a social environment for us to get together, to share knowledge and learn new skills, and create wonderful pieces of art you could throw on a bed

Varied people, Similar interests. As a group, we enjoy taking the fruits of our labour to the populace, with a bi-annual show held in Kilmore in October. We organise a bi-annual Quilt In, an annual Weekend Retreat, organise workshops, Sit and Sews, special projects and Mystery Quilts.

Summer is now well underway and we are now feeling the heat.

Prior to the end of the year we put together our proposed program for 2012. We have plenty of workshops and Sit n Sews planned and hope there will be something there to entice the novice and the experienced quilter.

We start back at our gatherings on the 15th of February - we look forward to seeing you all there.

About Us

Kilmore Quilters Inc. have been an active group in the community since 2002. From a founding membership of approximately 13 members we have swelled to a membership of over 50, and are always on the lookout for others who share our passion to join.

Are you interested in joining? You are more than welcome. You do not need to be a master quilter to participate. People of all skill levels are welcome to join us for one of our sit and sew sessions or come along to a gathering to learn more about us.

Monthly gatherings are held: Every 3rd Wednesday night of the month at 7pm - 10pm at the Kilmore Memorial Hall and during the day on the Tuesday following the night gathering at 9.00am - 12.30am at the same venue. For further details please see our calendar.

2012 Challenge - 10 (Ten)

In celebration of our Ten year anniversary, our challenge this year is the number 10

It must measure less than one metre squared and must be a quilted item. Use any technique which may appeal to you. For further information regarding our challenge please contact the Secretary.
