Welcome

Front of the Queenscliff Neighbourhood HouseThe Queenscliffe Neighbourhood House fosters a friendly environment where members of the community feel welcome to drop in to use the computer, internet, fax, laminator, photocopying facilities or to just have a chat. The Neighbourhood House also provides a comprehensive information and referral service to ensure that the community has access to current information in the region.

A quarterly program is prepared that reflects the interests and needs of the community. These vary from term to term and range from computer classes to Italian, Art and Children’s Music & Movement. The Neighbourhood House also supports a range of interest groups including a Photographic Group, Gardening Group, Craft groups, Philosophy Study Circle, Meditation, Community Choir, Writers Groups and Board Games to name a few. Public Internet Access is also available at the Neighbourhood House and is used by locals and visitors alike.

Annual sand sculpture competitions in January and bi-annual book sales have become local traditions.

The Queenscliffe Neighbourhood House works closely with the local community to provide a better quality of life and to build links between individuals and groups.
