Bob was born in 1922 at Ringwood, Victoria where he went to the Ringwood State School before going on to Swinbourne Technical School. He worked as a carpenter, builder timber merchant and related fields.
His hobbies have included woodturning, photography and computers. He has travelled around Australia and overseas.
He likes to do the best he can with the knowledge and skills he has learnt from others with whom he has come in contact.
