What is Parent to Parent Inner East ?
We are a parent
support group created and run by
parents of children and adults
with disabilities purely to
support other parents of children
and adults with disabilities.
We service the area of inner east
Melbourne, located in Victoria, Australia.
What do we do?
We offer support
and information by phone, email and in person at meetings, coffee
mornings, picnics, information workshops and carer’s
weekends in the country?

How do we do that?
Our voluntary committee and
paid
co-ordinator organize trained contact
parents to talk with other parents who's
situation is similar to their own.
They run training courses for parents who wish to become contact parents.
They also organize and host
various courses to help parents deal with the
often difficult job of parenting a child or
adult with a disability.
We have fun too! We organize
weekends away in the country just for carers,
have coffee mornings, dinners and picnics to
let parents get together in a relaxed
environment.
