Mt Martha Welcome
Welcome to the Mount Martha Yacht for the 2008-09 Paper Tiger National Titles.
I know you will enjoy your time at the club as we can provide you with all sorts of weather and wind as well as a sociable place for spectators to sit and watch the day’s proceedings.
Our race management crew have been honing their skills for this event and are looking to produce both challenging and easy courses for the week.
Whilst not on the water there is plenty to do in and around the Mount Martha region with a plethora of wineries, galleries, wildlife walks, restaurants & cafes to suit all needs and wallets. Just ask a local to get a clue to match your mood.
For the tournament the members invite you to join in experiencing our total yachting experience.
Breakfast, bacon & egg sandwiches will be available daily from 7:30AM
Freshly cut meat or salad rolls are available each day on a pre-order basis, for pick up during lunch break. Orders placed prior to morning sail.
Free sausage sizzle at race end each day.
Bar will be open each day & evening serving quality local wines, beer & soft drinks. Watch our magnificent sunsets on the deck.
MMYC members also invite you to join them for New Years Eve celebrations and to watch the city fireworks. Self catering arrangements apply and the bar will be open.

Parking
There is no parking at the yacht club for trailers during the event. Trailer storage is provided for those requiring somewhere to leave their trailer during the week. Maps will be provided to sailors from Mt Martha Yacht Club representative.
Bar
There is a Bar located on the upper deck which will be open after racing each day.
Rigging Area
Boats can be rigged on the beach in front of the club or within the yacht club compound. Boats need to be kept clear of the patoal boat launching ramps during the day.
Boats may be left overnight with masts up within the yacht club compound. The boats must be tied down overnight.

skipper weights and wind strengths.
This design does not require constant adjustment of the lower stays for
varying conditions.
Set and Forget.
Advice on settings given by Ian Marcovitch , or Garry or Greg Williams ,
there is no mystery, there are no SECRETS, and for the record each of the
three sailors sail with slightly different settings that suit their
individual sailing styles even though the three sails are identical.
