Junior Strings in concert with St
Raphael's choir [June 2007]
These string ensembles aim to provide the opportunity for string players to play in an ensemble under the guidance of an experienced conductor and to give performances in front of an audience.
The minimum standard for Preston Junior Strings is at least one year's tuition or equivalent to AMEB Grade 1 and for Preston Strings Grade 4 or above.
The ensembles are conducted by Hamish Patterson.
Subscription for 2008 is $25 per term.
Rehearsals are on Mondays during school term in Preston Town Hall
- 5:30 – 6:30 for Preston Junior Strings
- 6:30 – 7:30 for Preston Strings.
