Helping Other People

Since its formation, the Surf Life Saving Association has performed over 370,000 rescues. It is Australia's largest water safety organisation.

SLSA train for long hours, all year round in often difficult conditions. They do not get paid. They are proud to do a difficult and dangerous job for the benefit of the community.

Australians are very proud of their lifesavers.
