About Us Port Phillip 4WD Club Inc. was established in January 1988 by a couple of peninsula based families who had a common interest in exploring the Great Australian Outdoors. The Club recently celebrated our 21st Birthday and has been affiliated with Four Wheel Drive Victoria since Incorporation. All members actively participates in Four Wheel Drive Victorias Tread Lightly program. The Club is a not-for-profit organization operated by a committee of management, made up of volunteers from our family based membership, offering both social and off-road activities for the young through to the not so young. The club has no allegiance to any particular manufacturer of 4x4 and a wide variety of makes and models are driven by our members. Naturally, there is the usual rivalry between the Toyota and Nissan drivers which often leads to some very tricky recovery practice. Visitors are always welcome at our monthly meetings and for a small fee, to cover the liability issues, can participate in a day trip prior joining. Port Phillip 4WD Club Inc.

7. Raise money for the advancement of the Association to provide better and further facilities for members.
8. Do such things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objects and the exercise of the powers of the Association. The purposes of the Port Phillip Four Wheel Drive Club Incorporated are to:
1. Promote, represent, encourage and support issues affecting the recreation of four wheel driving in Victoria.
2. Pursue and conduct programmes and projects which affect four wheel driving and the activities of the Association generally.
3. Co-operate with or assist any organisation having objects and purposes similar to those of the Association in any manner which may further the interest of Four Wheel Driving in Australia.
4. Promote four wheel driving as an acceptable recreational pursuit.
5. Collect data on the Association's activities and disseminate information to members and other appropriate bodies. ABN: 79336564667 |
