Saying Sorry To Yourself

I'm Deeply Sorry ©

By Paul McCann

I forgive myself for the things I've done.

(Yes I am sorry)

I forgive myself for not having fun.

(Yes I am sorry)

The rope I gave was too short in length.

(I forgave myself)

The jobs that required super human strength.

(I forgive myself)

Yes I'm sorry I put myself through hell.

(I need time to heal)

Yes I'm sorry, soon all will be well.

(I need time to heal)

My Choices ©

By Paul McCann

I'm sorry for what I've done to myself,

Like the things that have brought me bad health.

Like never saying sorry before,

For expecting too much and even more,

For judging myself too hard for so long.

I'm saying sorry because I was wrong.

Beyond My Own Expectations ©

By Paul McCann

If I don't say it no one will.

I gave you shoes no one could fill

And I'm sorry if I hurt you.

I'm sorry to myself

It's true.

Life's Casualties ©

By Paul McCann

I am a casualty of my own war

And there are many things I'm sorry for.

I should have really looked before I jumped

Because it was my own head that I bumped.

I will take care of myself from now on.

I'm self reconciled now.

The war has gone.
