Death Of A Hard Drive

By Paul McCann

I sat and watched as my hard drive died, just the other day.

She left me on a Friday, in the merry month of May.

With no chance to say goodbye, there was nothing I could save .

Always back up is what I’ve learnt from hard drives in the grave .

I sit before a blank screen here and think of what had been.

Its a pity that some destroy while others like to dream.
