Prospective Lesbian Parents Victoria (PLP) is a friendly and informal group for women who may be interested in beoming a parent. We meet once a month to hear from guest speakers and have general discussions about parenting. New people are welcome to come along any time.

Guest speakers cover a range of topics including: legal and health information, alternative therapies, choosing a known donor or an anonymous donor, self-insemination, using a fertility clinic, telling family and health practitioners, birth certificates and co-parenting. Your ideas for speakers are very welcome.

PLP is for lesbians considering any kind of parenting arrangement - including lesbians who are single, in a couple, those who are considering known or anonymous donors, or those considering becoming foster parents.
