All PLP meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month from 6:45-9pm, at the Victorian Aids Council, 6 Claremont St, South Yarra. New people are welcome to come any time!

• Each meeting includes a guest speaker followed by questions and discussion. There's usually between 15-25 women at every meeting. Just sign in on arrival and check the whiteboard for room details.
• We welcome small donations at meetings to help us cover the cost of gifts for speakers, tea and coffee, publicity etc.

•All our meetings are followed by casual dinner somewhere close by, and everyone is welcome to come along, to chat and share experiences.

Private Midwife Jan Ireland and Cath Curtin from the Free Masons talk about birth options

  • Getting pregnant is only the beginning – the next big thing is getting the baby out! Listen to midwives discuss the experiences and emotions of birth and the many different options available, from homebirth to hospital care

Tuesday 19 August
Mediation and Negotiation: Sam Hardy
Discussion will include:  

  • how mediation can be used as a method to help negotiate a donor/co-parenting agreement to avoid conflict in the future;
  • questions and answers about how to discuss difficult issues and conflict
