The Kennett Government’s “Bay
Trail” was decreed by the then Conservation Minister, Hon. Mark Birrell
MLC, as a “shared” bicycle and pedestrian “trail”
around Port Phillip Bay, with the building of sections of it
starting without any overall plan of exactly where the whole
“trail” would be sited. Although many isolated sections have been
built, the location of other sections has not been settled as at 2010. Sections without a definite location being yet
determined include parts of Frankston, Kingston and Bayside
municipalities, as below. |
