The coast at Rye Jetty has extensive boat launching and trailer parking provision. The rock revetment at the beach end of the jetty interrupts the natural sand movement along the beach. It has led to an undesirable absence of sand on the eastern side. Rye is shown on the Victorian Coastal Strategy map as one of the 3 sites for Regional Boat Ramps around Port Phillip..Napier Street, RYE
