Stonnington City Council supports the Society from their Arts and Cultural Grants programme and we have received Ministry of Arts grants on occasions. The Society is Affiliated with the Royal Historical Society of Victoria.

Within Stonnington we are affiliated with Malvern Historial Society Inc. and the Prahran Mechanics Institute and are members of the Stonnington History Committee an umbrella body under the auspices of Stonnington
