Our small museum (one room) is located in the 'Old' former Shire of Mount Rouse Council building. It was opened on Australia Day, 26/1/99. We are now closing the museum, physically because of the winter, and in cyberspace because we have finished uploading our old photos. Please lend us pictures of 'old' Penshurst, and provide us with further details. Any picture will be scanned in as a tiff file and returned within a week. We will now upload historical files, starting with the folder "Hotels", starting with the former Victoria Hotel. The historical data was provided by Geoff Stephens, Hamilton Historical Centre.
