                   friendly and safe communities, based on family values of respect for self, others, life, God, property,
                   law and the environment.

                   2 BILLION VOICES FOR PEACE on CD-ROM   2 Billion Voices for Peace

                   PLANT A PEACE POLE IN YOUR SCHOOL OR COMMUNITY. Have a dedication ceremony.

                   Wear a WHITE RIBBON over your heart to show commitment to PEACE on special occasions
                   like the UN World Day of Peace is usually the second Tuesday or 12 September. The United Nations
                   International Day of Peace will be on September 5 to coincide with the United Nations Millennium
                   Summit. Armistice Day Saturday 11th November, Christmas and New Year, January the 1st.

                   CELEBRATE the good things in life with family, friends and neighbors.
                   Peaceful conflict resolution requires communication, understanding and goodwill to build trust.
                   LIVING BY PEACE VALUES creates an environment for friendly, prosperous and safer

                   THANKSGIVING DINNERs for special occasions with family friends and neighbours where
                   everyone writes on a small card what peace or the special occasion means to them and these are
                   read out as part of the celebration.

                   BRANCHES can be part of an existing organization and so have fees included in their subscriptions
                   but independent branches would need to raise their own subscriptions and pay the affiliation fee of
                   $10 maximum.

                   On PEACE DAYS each year and other suitable occasions, we invite all the people of Planet Earth
                   to WEAR THE WHITE PEACE 2000 RIBBON over their heart and show others in the community
                   that they are committed to the values of peace and friendship.

                      1.Also display white ribbons prominently on peace occasions and with Christmas decorations, at
                        home, school, work, public places and on cars etc., as a commitment to road safety and
                        courtesy, to help reduce the road toll.
                      2.Use the PEACE 2000 logo on correspondence for home, school, business, church, etc.
                      3.Peace is Free. Peace is Priceless. Peace is everyday, everyone, everywhere, living Peace
                        values as caring neighbors, respecting each other, their differences, property, and the
                        environment. Let's all Enjoy Life on the Friendly Planet.
                      4.Celebrate life, birthdays, etc., with a Family Thanksgiving Dinner or Party where everyone
                        writes on a small card, what Peace means to them in family, friends, neighbors, community,
                        relationships, responsibilities, etc. These messages are read out at the celebration of life and
                        gifts can be exchanged in such a way as to affirm the worth of all present like a "MINI
                        CHRISTMAS" Also celebrate birthdays, etc.
                      5.Plant native shrubs, etc., every year, to help reduce CO2 and save the ozone layer.
                      6.For special times of Peace, children can produce posters or write Peace and what it
                        means to them. Parents and teachers can arrange to display them at local shopping centers and
                        churches. Involve local media to help reinforce community values, which will reduce crime and violence
                        and boost local economies.
