Childcare and respite
Sometimes, in the life of any parents, particularly parents with disabilities, outside care and recreational opportunities are needed for their children. Equally important are the respite opportunities that many of these community activities allow for parents. The following services including special holiday programs for children allow for some much-needed respite for parents as well as healthy social opportunities for their children. What is not included in this section is a list of childcare centres. For these, contact your local council-operated family care in your area, or the various independent community childcare centres.
