Useful resources for research

Your doctor will doubtless tell you to be careful about information that you find on the Internet. This often says more about the medical profession's attitude to IT than anything else, but it is true that there is some misleading information available on liver-related matters, particularly emanating from those who wish to sell herbal and vitamin preparations.

No doctor however, can object to information found by following the links below.

1) A very useful source book for those who wish to do their own research into all aspects of PBC is available for purchase online or by mail order, see:

2) PubMed is an initiative of the US government to make Medline available free to the public. Use of multiple keywords will limit the number of papers listed, and result in more targeted results. Expect most of them to be incomprehensible :)
