Welcome to the Oakleigh Technical School Society Web Page

In April 1997 a school re union was held at the engineering halls of Monash University as the original school was demolished in 1993.

After that re union was held a society was formed with the purpose of perpetuating the memory of the old school.

To date, the society has made a number of achievements some of which are the following:

Awarding memorial scholarships to sixth grade students from the feeder schools of the original OTS.        Click here to see picture gallery

More recently:   awards to direct descendents of OTSS members who are completing sixth grade.

Installation of a memorial stone on the site where the school once stood.

Society president Bruce Barnhill welcomes over 100 members and their guests to a picnic in the park at the rear of the old OTS area prior to the un-veiling of the memorial stone on the corner of North and Poath roads Hughesdale.
