BA (Monash), Dip Ed (Melbourne), currently completing MA in defence history at University of Melbourne

Professional Experience

Many years as an oral historian, including the following projects:

* 1998-2004 - Memories of War: Members of the Naval & Military

   Club recall World War II (50 interviews)

* 2001 to present - Oral history research for 'Yachtsman Scheme'

   for Masters Degree

* Prior to 1995 - selected interviews for VCE, particularly focussing

   on the Depression years

Experience teaching (at secondary level) Australian history and politics from 1966 to 1999.

Resided in Papua New Guinea 1969-1975 which has given an insight into PNG military campaigns as well as traditional PNG cultures.
