10 minutes of Visual Trance was created in 1999 to music 'Trance R' by Brendan Shelper as part of Olafs research into NON PHYSICAL HUMAN COMPUTER INTERACTION .

This Visual Trance clip was made to demonstrate the benefit of a structure when composing sound and visual material that is intended for watching away from the time it was created. This, in turn demonstrates that a pre-thought structure is not as important when creating a sound and video composition that is being watched as it is being created ( live ). Because of the direct relationship the audio/video performer(s) has with the audiences and their sharing of a common space and time. See Live Video Performance

The video that was made demonstrates the use of 'Visual Trance' type visual elements and their intended effects.
