| The Narre Warren Support Unit was purchased in May 2001, replacing our very old lighting unit which was very much on the way out. It is with thanks to companies like Cardboard Cartons in Dandenong and organisations, such as Berwick Blue Light Disco which made this possible with very kind donations. We would also like to thank the public of Narre Warren, who's kind donations where also a big part in us purchasing this vehicle. Our unit will respond anywhere in Region 8 suppling anything from cold bottled water to bacon and egg sandwiches, coffee, tea or soups, sausages and hamburgers or for lighting. The unit has over 2 million candle watt of power, has 1 fixed generator, 2 portable generators, built in hot water urn, mini fridge, microwave, hand wash basin, BBQ, 18 portable lights and 2 large light towers. |
