The american Needlepoint Guild is an organisation for needlepoint enthusiast. The ANG also arranges correspondence courses, seminars and certification for teaching and judging.

The Royal School of Needlework specializes in embroidery and in the restoration and conservation of textiles. They also offer training ranging from day classes to a three year apprenticeship program.
