Neighbourhood Watch signage acts as a visible deterent to theives as they know that they will be more likely to detected and apprehended.

Neighbourhood Watch places street signs on all streets with access to the Neighbourhood Watch area. Houses are encouraged to place Neighbourhood Watch stickers on windows and gate plaques on the front fence/gate of the house.

All this advertises that Neighbourhood Watch is active in the area preventing crime and aiding detection of offenders.
