DG's WEEKLY message
Rotary Friends,

This week we commenced our club visits and our thanks to all clubs visited
for the warm welcome and good fellowship. Monday evening at Keilor East we were new to the visit procedure however President David and Diane and the club members welcomed us and they have a varied program for the year.
Tuesday lunch saw us at Sunshine where Pres. Ken Follett and the club have the theme for the year "It's up to us" as they plan for a strong year. Then we were over to Boroondara for supper and President Ian and Rhonda and the members talked of their plans for the year with membership a high priority. I noted that all members here are under 40!
On Wednesday evening we were at Kew on Yarra .Pres. Peter and Ann and the club were keen to increase membership in a  busy year of fundraising and projects. Out and early on Thursday morning for our first Breakfast visit at Tullamarine. What a great venue and President Rob and Anne, members and guests have appropriately a sister club link with Heathrow. Membership is a priority as is their focus on youth.
Our last visit for the week was to Melbourne Latrobe where Pres. Murray and Julie and the club welcomed us to their new venue in the very new RACV Club.
We are now looking forward to the coming weeks to meet you all. Have fun at your Rotary Club this week. !               DG John Wigley
