Introduction

Four organisations in the Newham area, comprising the Primary School, the Hall Committee , the Community Planning Group, and the Newham & District Landcare Group are organising a one day seminar and exhibitor display on the subject of sustainability at the Newham Hall and the Primary School on 13 March 2010. It is hoped that this will become a regular event. A committee has been formed comprising one representative from each of the four organisations, with Jim Sansom as Convenor.

Objective

To provide information and guidance for residents of the Macedon Ranges Shire and interested others on ways in which households, businesses and other participants in the community can live and conduct their affairs in environmentally sustainable and responsible ways.
