The Ivanhoe Neons Amateur Swimming Club was founded in June 1994 with an initial membership of 22. Within two years we had grown to over 80 swimmers. In 1996 the Club became incorporated and changed its name to The Ivanhoe Neons Swimming Club Inc. We now have a membership of well over 100 swimmers.

The Ivanhoe Neon colours are electric blue and red—just like the brilliant Neon Tetras fish. Our bright and bold colours increase team spirit and make it easy to spot Club members at swimming meets.

Three challenges ahead are to

• Increase our representation at State and National Level
• Develop our Aquatic Development Program for new swimmers
• Secure corporate and individual sponsorship to support the Club
