Joanne was appointed to the coaching staff of Victoria’s 2006 Emerging Squad. The squad consists of 17 young Victorian swimmers who won medals in individual events at the Australian Age Championships, held in
Brisbane in April. Our club swimmer Nick Cordner is a members of the squad.

Joanne has been a professional swimming coach for the past twenty years. She coaches our Senior Squad as well as some State Development and Junior Squad sessions.

Joanne moved to Ivanhoe in 1993 and was joint proprietor of the Four Seasons Swim School. From development of swimmers within this swim school, the Ivanhoe Neons Swimming Club was founded.
