There are many interesting swimming web sites worth visiting. Perhaps the best one to start with is the one hosted by Swimming Victoria at: http://www.swimmingvictoria.org.au/ There is all sorts of information about forthcoming events, as well as results from recent meets. There is also a swimmers page with pictures and profiles of Victorias leading swimmers. You can also go to a Links page that lists a variety of interesting web sites, including a link to our own site. There is also one to a Metro North home page which carries information relevant to our part of the world: http://home.vicnet.net.au/~metronth/ The Metro North lists information about clubs in our area, a calendar of local meets, and the results of competitions such as recent A and B Grade Aggregates. To get information on the big picture, visit the Telstra-sponsored site of Australian Swimming at: http://www.ausswim.telstra.com.au/ There are profiles of Australias leading swimmers, as well as biographies of past champions. There is also information on the major meetings coming up. |
