HOW TO JOIN

MEMBERSHIP
You are expected to renew your membership within the first couple of weeks of the season. The membership year runs from 1st May to 30th April. A discount is offered to those that pay before 1st May.

Swimmers must be registered club members if they are in Junior, State Development or Senior squads. To be eligible to swim in Swimming Victorian competitions, you must be registered with Swimming Victoria. A major part of the club membership fee is paid to Swimming Victoria as their registration fee and includes insurance cover and travel levies payable to Australian Swimming Inc. If you are not a registered member of the club, it means you are not a financial member and subsequently will not be covered by insurance in case of an accident/injury. Each swimmer must pay their renewal no later than 31st May or if joining during the season, no later than 30 days after squad training has commenced.

2004-2005 REGISTRATION FEES ARE:

SINGLE $125.00 Payment is by cash or cheque only,

1 ADULT/1 CHILD $135.00 made payable to the Ivanhoe

FAMILY $190.00 Neons Swimming Club.

Parents will automatically be enrolled as members for families registering two or more children, unless they specify that they do not wish to become members on the membership application form.

Upon registration, you will receive: -

An Ivanhoe Neons Club information book
A monthly club newsletter
Receive points at club nights. Trophies will be awarded at the end of the season.
Receive continued club support.
New members will also receive a personal time log, to record times swum at carnivals.
Be automatically registered with Swimming Victoria Inc. The swimmer’s registration number remains the same for his/her entire swimming career.
