The Whitehorse Historical Society Inc maintains a research collection of local history items including documents, photographs, maps, newspapers, oral histories and ephemera tracing the region's development from agricultural to suburban/industrial.

Local history records are available for research at Schwerkolt Cottage and Museum Complex on Wednesdays between 10 a.m and 3 p.m. or by appointment.
